Yesterday was such a huge success. We sold out of all wristbands within 15 minutes and loads and loads of people asking us if we still have them even after the game. I was in Gate A with LeagueSuperStar and other people and it was such a humbling experience seeing everyone wanting to help the great cause.
After the match Me, Jesbass and LeagueSuperStar managed to get our yellow volunteer shirts signed by the Eels so we can auction them off for this fantastic charity. Kristian Inu is a blessing as he gave us his cap to auction off as well. I like to thank everyone who helped out as yesterday was such a fantastic day for many reasons. I hope to see all you volunteers against the Rabbitohs as we will be working 10 times as hard by selling the 5000 load.

Yes, as Rob pointed out, we sold out within 15 minutes. Two gates sold out in 3 minutes.
Weller Hauraki, Joe Galuvao, Krisnan Inu and Feleti Mateo all bought wrsitbands. They also autographed our volunteer t-shirts so that we can auction them off. Krisnan Inu signed his own hat and gave it to us to auction off as well. I had a TVNZ camera trailing me for most of the afternoon, and Craig Stanaway was fantastic. That article will be broadcast on TVNZ tonight. Demand for the wristbands has skyrocketed, so our backup order of 6,500 wristbands has since been increased to 10,000. The intention is to keep 2,000 in Australia, and the remaining 8,000 will be sold at the Round 4 Warriors -V- Rabbitohs match. Last night alone, we raised NZD$4,231.20, (approx. AUD$3,384.96), before costs are taken out, and not including money raised via pre-orders and the auctioned gear. I will be getting some things autographed by the Broncos and Rabbitohs when they come to town, too, and we'll auction all of that off as well. I had been cautiously optimistic that we'd sell out last night, and it was very emotional to see the stampede. I just can't wait to sell the rest, and then to write that big cheque to the family on behalf of the fans. A huge thank you to all of the helpers last night. I'm sorry it was so brief, and we never really got to catch up. Your help hasn't gone unnoticed, so thank you again.
